I am beyond excited that summer is here. Time to start canning 😀 While the garden is growing me things to can (and eat fresh, of course) I decided to start out easy. My sister-in-law told me about a Chive Vinegar recipe from Food In Jars – a canner blog that we both love. Here’s the recipe!! Since my garden is beaming with chive flowers at the moment I figured it would be a perfect start to the canning season.
I didn’t get a photo of the final product (doesn’t look much different anyways)…I had a one year old begging for my attention on my leg 🙂
Radishes?! hehe 🙂 Sharing the first crop of the season in my garden! They were so delicious and peppery!
