Mitchell! Oh so you are such a sweet babe! I mean, look at those cheeks, toes and lips! At 2.5 months Mitchell was so aware and full of personality. His mom & dad are head over heels for him as you can see 🙂 His mama was *glowing* – which is near impossible to do when you have a new baby (keep sleeping little man!).
I love photographing families who have a new baby – I can *never* get enough of that. What I love even more, is photographing families who have just had their first baby. Yes, they may be tired, a bit scattered, and…well just tired ha! BUT they are SO HAPPY. All of them! There’s nothing like watching people who are still getting familiar with their first baby. It’s all so new and amazing (even the hard parts) and they’re just happy to be going through it all. It leaves me feeling energized, happy and excited for their journey.
Here’s a peek at Mitchell’s Lifestyle Newborn session!
Thank you Emily & Eric for having me photograph your beautiful family and being so welcoming ❤ I hope to see you again as Mitchell grows! xo
Let’s just all say it “Ahhhh they are SO CUTE!!!”. And not only that but they had the sweetest little personalities to go with it ❤ We had fun giggling, making faces, running and showing off their pretty toes 🙂
On original scheduled date to take photos it POURED. Torrential rain I’m talking…not a day for photos. So we rescheduled and it was worth the wait. The weather was *perfect* and the light was beautiful = happy family and happy photographer 🙂
Nadia, goodness you are beautiful!!
Ready…set…go! But not TOO fast 😉
This sweet pea was so funny and just flat out adorable!
Sisters are the best…I think these 2 already know that though ❤
Thank you to the Palladino family for having me take photos of your girls!! I hope to see you again!! xo

Can I tell you how much I love this family? They’ve been with me since Ryan was just a baby – and now look at him! So handsome and grown up (do I sound like a mom or what?!) I enjoy seeing them every fall.
We had a beautiful fall day this year, so we took full advantage of it. Nittany, their pup, was amazingly well behaved as always. We hopped around the park, chatted, laughed and took some images that I hope they love. Ryan will certainly be able to look at these photos and see how loved he is ❤
Thanks Armstrong family!! xo

What a gorgeous summer evening! This mama hustled to rearrange schedules so that we could have beautiful light for our session. She also hustled to coordinate outfits and get everyone to our location on time – WOO!! Amazing! I had such a fun time with everyone. The boys were super cute and the girls were SUCH great helpers ❤ Awesome family!
I like to have fun, so be ready for goofy faces (from me), races (at the end so you won’t get sweaty!), lots of group hugs and laughs 😀
These guys made my job easy ❤ Thanks so much to the Wang family!!
TIP: Bring a small snack for little ones!! Don’t offer it unless it’s your last option (which is rare), and be sure it doesn’t make a mess. So no M&Ms, Goldfish or chips!! Think pretzels, cheese sticks or apple slices. They won’t make their outfits messy or get stuck in their teeth/face!

AH! I love these guys!
Happy. Easy going. Fun. Down-to-earth. Friendly. And those 2 little ones? ADORABLE! That’s the Schwartz family ❤
I was thrilled when they signed up for my fall mini-sessions last year! We spent a quick 25 minutes taking family photos, chasing the kids and giggling in my favorite location.
Photo Session Tip (that they clearly nailed):
– Wear color tones that compliment the time of year. I always recommend picking 2-3 colors and mixing them throughout the family. You’ll all match without being TOO matchy-matchy.
Thanks Schwartz family! xo

Oh summer! Oh beautiful families!
I was so excited when a gift certificate was purchased as a Christmas gift for Denise (grandma!) from her children (in-laws included!). The evening we picked turned out to be perfect – there’s nothing better than a summer evening for a portrait session. It’s worth re-organizing your schedule for the day if you can swing it!
I had fun chasing the little ones, gathering and grouping families & kids and chatting throughout the session.
Can not WAIT to be back at this gorgeous location with another lovely family this summer ❤ Thank you Charno’s for being so wonderful!
Photo Session TIP (The most important!):
– Schedule your session about 1-2 hours prior to sunset in the summer. The light is soft, golden and beautiful…and it will make YOU look better too! The Charno’s have lots of little ones, and we all know that 5-7pm is a HARD time of day for them. BUT they re-arranged their day so that they had the best possible outcome for their photos! And it paid off!

Ahh fall ❤ I am aching for warm weather again…I am DONE with being cold and stuck indoors. The kids need to get out and run, run, run! Until then, I’m going to remember what’s coming in the next few months by taking a peek at last years sessions that I never got around to blogging.
Let me tell you…this family is AWESOME! Jeff, Kim and their 2 boys Holden & Connor will give you instant smiles. The boys are hilarious. I’m lucky that Holden and my son Aaron are preschool buddies so I get to see them relatively often 😀
Look at those faces! Ah! That bottom right one of Connor…I was trying so hard not to shake my camera while I was laughing 🙂
These photos are a sample of the photos they received from their fall mini session! This year, I’ll be offering mini sessions on weeknights ONLY (remember…it stays warm and light until 8p in the summer!). These sessions are perfect for families with 1-2 kids, or with older kids. Be sure to take advantage 🙂
