Can I tell you how much I love this family? They’ve been with me since Ryan was just a baby – and now look at him! So handsome and grown up (do I sound like a mom or what?!) I enjoy seeing them every fall.
We had a beautiful fall day this year, so we took full advantage of it. Nittany, their pup, was amazingly well behaved as always. We hopped around the park, chatted, laughed and took some images that I hope they love. Ryan will certainly be able to look at these photos and see how loved he is ❤
Thanks Armstrong family!! xo
Erica@photerica.com to schedule your family lifestyle session.
At the beginning of nearly every year, the first session I book is a newborn session. I LOVE this…what better way to start off then with a cozy, at-home session with a new baby?! This family was wonderful! We spent time capturing in-the-moment images as well as posed images. When mom fed or changed Emmett I got to play legos and hide-and-seek with his big brothers ❤
You know what else I love? New parents who look at each other like Katie and Brian do. 3 children, sleepless nights?! Look at how sweet they are! ❤ And look at that beautiful baby!
I always take some time with the baby alone with mom and dad (each of them and then all 3 of them together!). Snuggles are the best! It’s a nice time for them to just take a breath and LOOK at their new baby.
I love some hands-on poses that are still natural. It’s about making sure everyone looks good while capturing moments that happen naturally. And photographing interactions between family members (pups included) is priceless. That’s the good stuff you guys…you don’t want to forget those moments!
Those moments? Take a peek below. These are just a handful of my favorites from their session. Those legos next to the dog?! Yes, someone will probably step on them (like I do nearly every day) but it’s something that I don’t want mom & dad to forget…their boys LOVE legos!
Katie did an amazing job with the nursery…I’m not sure where she gets her energy to turn Pinterest ideas into beautiful creations but I would like some please!!
Thank you so much to the Moore family for having me in your home ❤ Your boys couldn’t be cuter!
**Lifestyle sessions are available for any type of session! They aren’t just for newborns – we can make a family session a lifestyle session (email me for details on how we do this!). One thing I love and encourage all my clients to do is bring their dog(s) along for their session, or at least part of it. Pups are such an important part of the family, why leave them out? They greet us happily every time we walk in the door, or even in the room, they snuggle up to us when we’re down, they help our kids learn how to be gentle and learn responsibility and more importantly they love us. They love us all day, every day just for being there.
While I always love a mini-pup session, I think it’s even more important to have one when they are older, a little slower, and time is not on their side. Take 30 minutes to spend time with your pup and take home photos that you will have forever. ❤
They will love the time with you, and you will love the memories them.
This June I will joining up with a local business to offer mini-pup sessions. A portion of the proceeds with go to a local shelter. Details to come. xo
